Taiwanese metal giants Chthonic, often referred to as the "Black Sabbath of Asia", are an excellent example and a proof that quality of metal does not depend on geographic origin of the band. Chthonic`s Jesse "The Infernal" Liu is one of Asia`s most influential axemen and one of few continent`s representatives in ESP`s signature artist lineup.
JL-7 is Jesse`s only currently active signature model with ESP. It belongs to the upscale E-II class, bringing a rather impressive set of features and appointments. JL-7`s based on the popular Arrow concept, with neck-through-body construction and heavily beveled top. Alder body wings, three-piece maple neck and 24-fret ebony fingerboard (w/custom-designed inlays) form the chassis. Floyd Rose Original bridge, lone Seymour Duncan AHB-1-7 Phase 2 bridge humbucker and Gotoh tuners complete this infernal axe.
