Prophecy class of electric guitars in Epiphone catalog brings modern looks and tone designed for contemporary rock and metal. Prophecy Futura Custom FX is actually an Explorer with 24-frets and locking trem bridge. It comes with a modern-contoured body made of mahogany back and quilted maple top. Top panel is also equipped with a matte black pickguard and glossy finish. Bridge is a licensed Floyd Rose trem with double locking. It is fronted with a pair of mighty EMG 81 and 85 humbuckers. Classic EMG combo is controlled with Explorer`s standard set of knobs and switches. Neck on this one is made of maple, it`s set in and equipped with a standard D contour in the back. On it`s top Epiphone installs a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
