These models are usually available for a brief period of time, through certain music stores or are made in limited quantities. Limited Edition Tony Iommi Signature SG Custom Left Handed, though being an Epiphone, features a Gibson-like list of features. First off, there`s an ebony-clad body with gloss finish and nickel hardware. Also, there`s a small SG pickguard on the treble side. Mahogany-made neck sports a classic slim taper profile in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Fingerboard boasts the iconic cross inlays and a 1.68 wide graphite nut. In the electronics department, Epiphone installs a pair of Tony Iommi`s signature Gibson USA humbuckers. They come with a standard set of controls and supremely heavy tone. Clear and well defined tone of this limited edition SG is perfect for the classic heavy metal stuff, especially `70s and `80s Black Sabbath. Two-piece bridge unit made up of a tune-o-matic bridge in the front and a stoptail bar in the back are also there on top. Six vintage-styled tuning machines complete the specs list.
