Epiphone`s Limited Edition Elitist 1966 Custom Riviera Outfit is one of the most interesting entries into the emerging 2015 lineup of the catalog. It is a limited edition model, but nonetheless, it is bound to make a permanent impact onto the few lucky players it manages to reach. It is a semi-hollow ES guitar made in Japan and fit with US electronics. This limited edition ES is made in Epiphone`s factory in Japan, where the original 1966 Riviera used to be made to reinforce the legacy vibe on this 2015 model. It is a semi-hollow guitar with a double-cut and carved top body. It is fit with all of the hallmarks of the Riviera tradition. White binding, elevated plastic pickguard, dual "f" holes and vintage-styled hardware are all featured on this beauty. Bridge section is fit with a tune-o-matic bridge with Delrin saddles and a Gotoh stoptail bar. Minibuckers installed in the front are made in the U.S. of A by Gibson USA. Split volume and tone knobs with CTS 500K Audio pots, Orange Drop 473 capacitors and a Switchcraft three-way toggle pickup switch complete the electronics. 1960s Slim taper contour is featured in the back of the mahgoany neck. Set in mortise & tenon joint connects the body and neck. On it`s top, there is a stylish rosewood fingerboard with white binding, 22 medium jumbo frets and parallelogram inlays. Bone nut is 1.69" wide. On the headstock, this limited edition Riviera is fit with a set of six Gotoh tuners in the classic 3+3 arrangement. There`s only one color option in the palette - Honey Burst with nitrocellulose gloss finish and nickel hardware. As of yet, the MSRP has not been disclosed.
