Limited Edition 1966 G-400 is a tribute model dedicated to 1966 SG. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany. It`s sibling G-400 Walnut features all-walnut construction, while this one features all-mahogany construction. Body of this model is made in the finest SG tradition, it`s flat on the top, thin and has beveled edges. Top wood cover and binding are omitted. Ebony, Silverburst and Heritage Cherry color options are finished in high gloss. Bridge section is a standard one, featuring the tune-o-matic bridge/stoptail bar combo with chrome plating. Pair of active humbuckers is installed in the front and controlled with a standard set of knobs and switches. Set mahogany neck has slim taper contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
