This limited edition 50th Anniversary 1961 Casino was issued in 2011 to mark half a century of Casino guitar. For those five decades, Casino managed to establish itself as one of the most important semi-hollow guitars of all time. This anniversary model comes with a semi-hollow double-cut body made of mahogany. Top panel is arched and carved with a pair of "f" holes. Creme binding and tortoise shell pickguard complete the top panel specs list. Both Royal Tan and Vintage Sunburst come with gloss finish. Gold-plated tune-o-matic bridge is paired with a simple trapezoid tailpiece. It is fronted by a pair of Gibson USA P-90s. Set mahogany neck is made with slim taper contour and it features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.

ok...lets put it that way...if you are lucky enough : one retailer with the epiphone line and A CASINO 50TH ANNIVERSARY 1961 IS NEXT TO YOUR HOUSE !! jump oUT the window and go for a sound check brother if you do your done...... ..where im living it was impossible to even try the guitar before buyin it... but being a hardcore casino freak . i order an axe without playin it..mmmm but what a beauty !! the finish itself is perfect without any mess.. the royal tan is royal big time ... epiphone really dig that one now when i received it.. ...the action was way too high on arrival and the case has been squeezed , crushed...grrrr... but the baby inside was ok.. .the pick guard was bended grrrrr but ..nothing serious and i waited long enough now for few littles things i can easy fix ...the saddles on the bridge were noisy so i change them with some olds ones i had on hand.. .i also file the nut down a bit ( they are a bit high as usual)... .i gave a quarter turn on the neck, raised the pole pieces on the bridge pick up A LOT and also did raised the pole on the neck too ...the tone changed being more precise , aggressive than woofy dull soundin'...and MAN ITS ONE OF THE BEST INSTRUMENT I HAD.!!!!!!...... THE GIBSON P-90'S DOGHEAR ARE BARKERS !! the guitar itself is made like a tank but it is feather light......i play through old 50's amplifiers and the casino loves them all... i already had 3 casinos over the years ...i love them all... .but this one is made out of soul juice... there is somethin about it .....it aint no normal casino....the neck is wide and chunky like i love them.( old les paul type) .the casino already vibrate a lot but with this neck WOW watch out .... got planty of space to BEND strings EVRYWERE ... at first i was a bit nervous with the 14 in radius....but soon as i pull the slide it was ok understand why...... the guitar feel more pro than the others epis i had... .the CASINO 50TH ANNIVERSARY is a real songwriter | performer machine ..
