Explorer is a modern variant of the classic Explorer concept and it`s made by Epiphone. It translates to modern, decent looking and good sounding. Craftsmanship on this model is also top notch, considering the price class it`s in. It comes with a modern Explorer-contoured body made of mahogany. There`s no binding and no top wood cover. Pickguard is also taken off the specs list. Worn Black is the only color scheme available and it is finished in satin. Bridge section is a standard one, as it features a tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar in the back. USA designed humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions feature open coil design and standard controls unit. Three-piece mahogany neck is set in and equipped with slim taper contour. It`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
