Dot Black Royale is a model from the newly established Black Royale collection of electric guitars made by Epiphone. These guitars come from all over the catalog and represent Epiphone`s most popular and most significant series.Les Paul Standard, Wildkat, ES-339 PRO, Riviera Custom P-93, Dot and Emperor Swingster are featured in the series. Dot Black Royale is a semi-hollow bodied guitar with double cutaway design and glued-in neck joint. It is made of laminated maple in it`s entirety. Top panel is bound in silver sparkle binding and equipped with a silver pickguard on top. Also, a pair of "f" holes is carved onto the top, one on the either side of the bridge. Bridge section composed of two pieces of hardware: tune-o-matic bridge in the front and stoptail bar in the back. Both are plated in nickel, as is the rest of the hardware. Pickups are Alnico Classic active humbuckers and they come with split volume and tone knobs, which is a tradition for Gibson and Epiphone electric guitars. Also, one of traditional features is the presence of a three-way toggle pickup switch. Mahogany-made neck sports 1960s slim taper back contour and rosewood fingerboard on the top. 22 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays, 1-11/16" string nut and 12" radius are featured on the fingerboard. Tuners are supplied by Grover and plated in nickel.
