2014 Limited Edition G-1275 Doubleneck by Epiphone
Cherry Red

The original Gibson SG which Jimmy Page played on stage during the Led Zeppelin`s hey day broke the ground for all the subsequent double and triple-neck guitars. Initially a very expensive thing to build and own, a double-neck guitar became more and more common over the years and decades. Gibson`s double-neck SG still holds the throne tightly within it`s grasp and the limited edition G-1275 Double-neck is a noteworthy tribute to the great grand father of all the modern era double-necks. It kicks off with a solid and flat mahogany body, matched with a pair of smooth and elegant mahogany necks. Both bridge units have tune-o-matic bridges with staggered tailpieces. Also, both "halves" have Alnico Classic pickups (the ones on the upper, twelve-string side have nickel-plated covers, while the bottom pair rocks the full hot rod style). Two volume knobs and two tone knobs are located below the six-string bridge and pickups and are responsible for all four pickups, but there are, however, two pickup switches. Both necks are topped with 22-fret fingerboards made of rosewood. Both have medium-sized frets and split parallelogram inlays.
