A great start/experienced player's guitar with tuners that stay in tune when you need them to. The two volume controls give players come cool effects, and when coupled with the pickup selector, can be used as a killswitch. I bought this guitar used, and it has still been the best guitar I've ever owned. I've literally fallen halfway down a flight of stairs with this, and it played the same. I would have no problem depending on this guitar live. This guitar has the price range of a moderately priced beginner's guitar, but can play like a pro's. If I lost this guitar, I would likely buy it again, however, I would probably buy an Epiphone or Gibson Explorer. But if you are looking for a cheap, effective alternative to those two, this is the guitar you want. I love this guitar. The only thing I don't like is the V shaped headstock, but that doesn't stop this guitar from being my favorite out of the 7 guitars I have owned.
