Michael Amott and his band Arch Enemy are one of the hottest metal acts coming from Sweden in past 15 years. Their blend of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest influences with Swedish death metal and growling female vocal hits the right spot. Michael rose to prominence as the mastermind behind Arch Enemy`s harsh lyrics, bone crushing riffs and unforgettable melodies. Over the course of years his fidelity to Dean`s guitars has paid of in the form of the signature series. Four models were active up to now and the two more will join them in 2013. One of them is USA Michael Amott Signature Splatter model. It comes with a modern V body made of mahogany. It`s flat on top and it sports a set in neck joint. Red Splatter graphic is painted against the white base. Bridge section features a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. Pickups on this model are installed in H/H pattern. USA DMT Amott "Tyrant" is in the bridge and "Time Capsule" in the neck position. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a standard C contour in the back. It is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
