Shire series takes on the classic looks and combines them with modern construction and electronics solutions. 2016 Shire Semi Hollow Body w/Piezo is a single-cut guitar with a black-clad body, modern Dean playability and an unbelievably versatile tone. Shire Semi Hollow Body w/Piezo kicks off with a semi-hollow body made entirely of maple (that includes the back, sides and the top) and a set-in neck also made of maple. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard completes the chassis. It also features dot inlays, jumbo-sized frets and 24-3/4" scale.Two DMT Design Mini Humbucker pickups are accompanied by a concealed piezo bridge pickup. Two volume knobs, one tone, one mode/blend switch and a classic three-way pickup selector comprise the electronics unit. Two-piece bridge and Grover tuners conclude the major features list.
