ML Chicago Flame is a new model from the Chicago series made by Dean Guitars. Back in 1970s, when Dean Guitars were starting out, production facilities were set in Chicago. Models made in Chicago have reached legendary status among Dean Guitars fans and are among the most sought after guitars today. In order to satisfy the demands for original Deans from 1970s, Dean Guitars have introduced Chicago segment at 2013 NAMM show. USA Chicago, Chicago and Chicago Standard series comprise the line. ML Chicago Flame belongs to the Chicago series and it comes with a standard ML-contoured body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Creme binding and gloss finish are featured on the body of this gorgeous ML. Trans Brazilia, Trans Cherryburst and Classic Black are color schemes available for this model. Bridge section is a standard one, as it features only the tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. Pickups on this model are made by DiMarzio and include two Super Distortion humbuckers. Standards set of control knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch complete the electronics department. V-shaped neck is made of mahogany and topped with a bound ebony fingerboard with 22 frets.
