Icon series is one of the main electric guitar series made by Dean Guitars. Its models usually compete in beginner, lower intermediate, and intermediate classes. Occasionally, though, Dean introduces an Icon with upper intermediate class aspirations. Icon Baritone is a brand new 2018 model and an upper intermediate class axe. It will be available in Black Satin (w/black hardware, black plastics, white binding around the body & neck). The MSRP is set at $1,349. Main features include a solid and double-cut mahogany body (carved mahogany top, white binding, no pickguard), a mahogany neck (C profile, satin finish, set-in joint), a 22-fret ebony fingerboard (jumbo frets, Icon inlays, 1.6875" nut, 27" scale), a two-piece hardtail bridge (tune-o-matic/stoptail), EMG pickups (81/85 combo), and Grover tuners.
