550 series is the intermediate tier of the Custom range with only one model in the current lineup - the mighty Custom 550 Floyd. Solid and double-cut mahogany body of this killing machine is carved and fit with a contoured heel. Also, the lower cutaway starts at the 24th fret of the fingerboard, giving the player total access to the fingerboard. On the other end, on the body Dean opts with tested and battle hardened hardware. EMG`s 81/85 duo is the quintessential unit of metal mayhem and in combination with mahogany body, it is able to conjure demons from the ninth circle of hell. Floyd Rose 1000 series bridge is joined by a 1-11/16" locking nut and die-cast tuners for the ultimate tuning stability and control.
