I have owned a Cort Yorktowne for four years and love it. I continue to be amazed at its quality and the great sounds I get from this guitar. I play in a band and the Yorktowne sounds great for blues, R&R, jazz, country and rockabilly. I also own Gibson, Fender, Guild, Heritage and Epiphone guitars, but this is the one I usually pick up when I just want to play. The pickups and the hollow body deliver excellent tones. The maple neck is solid and the fret work is excellent. The quality of this guitar is far beyond what you would expect for its price. This has to be one of the best bargains out there. I bought the model without the Bigsby, because I do not use a Bigsby, but that is my choice, and does not mean the Bigsby is not useful for some players. I have been playing for many years and have owned many guitars, this is one of my favorites. I have had no problems with this guitar and the volume and tone pots still are static free when turned. Try one, you will be impressed.
