Cort`s KX line is there for all the metalheads who want a modern Superstrat/Soloist guitar but are looking for an affordable and reliable alternative to major brand models. KX5 TF is one of the flashier options, rocking a custom designed graphic.
KX5 TF starts off with a solid and carved basswood body and a bolt-on Canadian hard maple neck. Though not as heavy sounding as mahogany/maple and mahogany/mahogany combos, basswood/maple option offers a warm, deep tone with a strong low end and good clarity. Neck is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood ( block inlays, 12" radius).
Motherbucker humbuckers found in the bridge and neck positions are high-gain pickups made for straight up metal. Other major features include a string-through tune-o-matic bridge and die-cast tuners.
