Together with the X series, KX series (X series` hardtail companion series) was revamped for 2018. New style, new models, new lineup, everything`s new in the KX series this year. The starting lineup is four models strong, with KX100 filling the role of the series` opening model. The most basic KX model will be available in three colors - Metallic Ash, Iron Oxide, and Black. All three sport black headstocks, black hardware, black plastic parts, as well as metallic/gloss finish on body and neck. Main construction features include a solid and beveled body made of basswood, a fast maple neck (smooth finish, bolt-on joint), a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard (dot inlays, 25-1/2" scale, 15.75" radius, jumbo frets), a string-through hardtail bridge, EG4 Powersound pickups, and die-cast tuners.
