CR line is Cort`s take on the classic LP concept. Though very similar tot he original, CR models feature sharper cutaway horns, different pickups and necks. CR Custom is the series` flagship model and a serious contender in the Epiphone LP Custom class.
Cort CR Custom starts off with a solid and single-cut mahogany body with quilt maple top and set mahogany neck, a combination seen on many a Les Paul guitars over the past six decades. Selection of color options is not much of a novelty, either, featuring Honey Burst, Black Cherry and Cherry Red Sunburst variants. Set mahogany neck rocks a series standard contour in the back and a rosewood fingerboard with large frets on top.
Seymour Duncan`s SH4-JB and SH1-59 pickups give this LP a distinctive, vintage rocking tone. Two-piece bridge unit and vintage Kluson tuners complete the specs list.
