Sidewinder 6 Hollowbody Melted Top is a model from the Conklin`s Custom Shop division. This section deals only with the luxurious instruments made of the exotic tonewoods and exclusive hardware. Sidewinder is the most populous line of electric guitars produced by the Custom Shop and it is exclusive to this side of the catalog. There is no Sidewinder series in the regular part. Sidewindder 6 Hollowbody Melted Top is a double-cut guitar made of mahogany back and sides with top made of red heart and macassar ebony. Top is carved and equipped with luxurious hardware. Hardtail bridge is installed on the top and it is fronted with a pair of humbucking pickups. Neck on this model is made of three pieces of maple and it features the 24-fret ebony fingerboard on it`s top.
