CL Jazz is the top cat in the archtop alley of the Collings catalog. This guitar comes with a fully hollow body and a cutaway. The body is made of flamed maple back and sides with a European spruce top. The top is bound in ivoroid binding, carved with a pair of "s" holes and finished in high gloss polish. Also, it features a black pickguard. The bridge is made of ebony and paired with ebony-made trapezoid tailpiece. In the pickups department, there is a minibucker in neck position. It is controlled through volume and tone knobs concealed within the pickguard. The neck is made of flamed maple and it is attached to the body with a mortise & tenon joint. Ebony fingerboard is equipped with 22 frets, parallelogram inlays and 1-11/16" string nut. 25-1/2" scale and golden Schaller tuners wrap the specs list.
