This skull painted model is the second signature for Warren in Charvel`s Artist Series lineup. Currently, Warren is the only signature guitarist, but the series is just starting. It is a part of Charvel`s renaissance under Fender. Warren Demartini Skull kicks off with a solid, double cutaway body made of alder. The top is flat and features no binding or pickguards. They were omitted in favor of the custom skull with bones graphic. Behind the graphic, there is a base paint of gloss black with blood red stripes. In the bridge section, there is an original Floyd Rose double locking tremolo, instead of the licensed one, which is standard for Desolation series. There is only one pickup, the bridge humbucker designed by Seymour Duncan especially for Warren. This pickup is followed by a simple controls layout which consists of a master volume knob. The neck is made of a single piece of quarter-sawn maple with modern contour and four-bolt joint. The fingerboard is made of maple and features 22 jumbo sized frets with black dot inlays and 1.6875" wide locking nut. 25-1/2" scale and black hardware complete the specs list. The MSRP for this model is set at $3,200.
