Desolation series is one of the most recent additions to the premier division of the intermediate section of the metal guitars segment of the market. Desolations have instantly carved their path and set their positions, mainly due to the outstanding quality of build and exceptionally well chosen hardware options. DC-1 FR is one of the top models in this series. It is the top one among the double-cut DC guitars. Body is made of standard mahogany back and carved maple top. Top can be made of plain maple and flamed maple, depending on the color scheme. Double-locking Floyd Rose bridge is installed on the top of the body and it is fronted with a pair of Seymour Duncan`s Blackouts. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
