ML-2 is the only Les Paul-shaped model in Chapman Guitars` Standard series lineup. It comes with an intermediate 25" scale (a slight departure from Gibson tradition), carved-top body (available on certain options), dual humbuckers and 22-fret fingerboard. As all Standard models, ML-2 comes in well below the $1,000 mark, it costs around $650. ML-2 kicks off with a solid mahogany body with flamed maple top (only Natural Mahogany has no veneer top). Set-in neck is made of maple and it rocks the slim C profile. 22-fret fingerboard on its top is made of ebony. Pair of Chapman Guitarnivore humbuckers delivers a fat, harmonically rich tone, perfect for heavier variants of blues rock and hard rock. String-through TOM bridge and Grover tuners complete the specs list.
