Ghost Fret is Chapman`s name for the classic Explorer body shape. The first one was made several years ago as Rob Chapman`s own signature six-stringer. Now, the Ghost Fret fleet also has a Standard series model, as well as a Pro series model. Ghost Fret Pro kicks off with a solid, single-cut body, fast neck with through-body construction, black hardware, and Chapman`s own electronics. Dusk and Lunar color options are offered with this one (Standard model has Black Blood instead of Duck option). Core construction features include a maple neck (C profile), mahogany body wings (glued onto the neck), two-piece flamed maple top, and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Other notable features include a string-through hardtail bridge, Hipshot tuners, and Chapman Primordial pickups.
