DC800 is the top eight-stringer from Carvin Guitars. It comes with a soloist-shaped double cutaway body made of alder. basic variant features no top woods, but Carvin offers a wide palette of top wood covers for this model. Basic hardware color is chrome, with black gold and others being available. In the bridge section, Carvin installs a hardtail bridge with string-through construction. Other fixed bridge options are available. Pickups installed on this model are made by Carvin and installed in H/H configuration. Controls include master volume, master tone with push-pull switch and a three-position blade pickup selector. Neck is made of hard rock maple and it runs through the body. Fingerboard is made of ebony and it comes with 24 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays and 2.15" wide string nut.
