CS4 24 is one step below the flagship of the line, the CS6 24, and it comes with a solid, single cutaway body made of mahogany back with maple top. Carved top is finished in high gloss and free of pickguards. Tune-o-matic with string-through construction is the primary bridge option, but various hardtail and tremolo options are available. In the pickups area Carvin installs a pair of their own humbucking pickups. These humbuckers are controlled through a simple and effective controls unit, which consists of: master volume, master tone with push-pull and three-way toggle pickup switch. Mahogany is the wood of choice for the set neck, while the fingerboard primarily comes made of ebony. 24 medium jumbo frets, block inlays (dot inlays come optionally) and 1.69" wide string nut wrap the fingerboard specs.
