Benedetto is a brand of exclusive and luxurious jazz guitars founded in 1968 by Bob Benedetto. Ever since, this brand produces only top notch jazz guitars. Their catalog is divided into two main categories, the Flagship series and Professional series. Flagships are far more expensive than Professionals. Cremona 18" is a model from the Flagship series and it comes with a classic jazz archtop body with single cutaway. It is equipped with a pair of "f" holes on the top and finest spruce bracing installed with X pattern. Back and side panels of the body are made of the finest flamed maple, while the top is made of spruce. Both bridge and tailpiece are made of ebony. Top class flamed maple is used for the neck and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard with 21 frets. As for amplification, Cremona 18" is equipped with a suspended Benedetto S-6 pickup in the bridge position. It is controlled with a volume knob mounted onto the pickguard. This pickup is optional and Cremona 18" can be ordered in fully acoustic variant. Body of this guitar is made of the best hand-graduated and tuned tone woods from Europe, while the flamed maple for the neck comes from America. A combination of black and white binding is applied all around the guitar, body is bound in black and fingerboard in white. Width of the body measures 18 inches, while it`s depth is three. Scale is 25" long and the fingerboard has 12" radius. String nut is made of bone and it is 1.75" wide. Hardware is golden on Cremona 18". The MSRP for this Benedetto is set at $30,000.
