Virgin series is dedicated to the production of unique Virgin models. This concept is original B.C. Rich creation and features uniquely shaped double-cut bodies with narrow waists and rounded bottoms. VG1 opens this series with a solid, flat-top body, 25-1/2" scale, bolted neck and 24-fret fingerboard. Body of this six-string beast is made of agathis wood and it`s paired with maple neck. Use of agathis signals that this Virgin is intended for beginners and inexperienced players. Also, this model features passive humbuckers installed in front of the wrap around bar bridge. These pickups give a decent tone, but are no match for the upscale pickups from Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio and EMG. Fingerboard is equipped with 24 jumbo-sized frets with dot inlays.
