Virgin Standard is the top model of the Virgin series. It comes with a uniquely shaped double-cut body with beveled edges, 25-1/2" scale, 24-fret fingerboard and bolt-on neck joint. All in all, this is a high quality guitar which resides in reasonably priced area of the market. Mahogany body is flat, solid and paired with a maple neck. This is one of the most standard combos and some manufacturers prefer to pair mahogany bodies with maple necks because maple is more sturdy and durable. Series standard contour is found in the back of the neck and it is among the slimmer ones. 24-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood and it greatly benefits from the super deep cutaway design of this model. Floyd Rose bridge and Rockfield`s potent Black Betty humbuckers wrap the specs list for this model.
