NJ Classic Mockingbird is the only NJ model from the current lineup of the Mockingbird series. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made in classic Mockingbird fashion, 24-5/8" scale, neck-through-body construction and 24-fret fingerboard. With neck running through the body and super deep lower cutaway, ebony fingerboard on this model is really accessible and comfortable to play on. Back contour of the neck is also very nice and fast. Jumbo-sized frets are comfortable and durable. Passive humbuckers drive the tone of this Mockingbird, giving a lot of versatility and sustain. Mahogany neck runs through the body and has mahogany-made body wings glued on the sides. Quilted maple top is available in two colors: Transparent Blue and Transparent Red. Both are finished in gloss.
