Mock Contour Deluxe is one of intermediate class Mockingbird models (list price is around $700). It offers classy styling in both the Natural and Trans Red variants (white binding, gloss finish, pearloid inlays and chrome hardware). Mock Contour Deluxe comes with a solid and carved mahogany body with a gorgeous quilt maple cap on top. Mockingbird models traditionally have no pickguards and Contour Deluxe is no exception to that rule. Deep set neck is made of mahogany too, and it features the modern C profile in the back. Bound rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, pearloid Cloud inlays and 12" radius covers the neck. Rich Hot Hex humbuckers come with a simple controls unit and coil-splitting ability (tone knob has a push/pull switch) for those softer tones. Two-piece bridge and B.C. Rich tuners complete the specs list.
