ASM Pro is a model from the ASM/Assassin series of electric guitars made by B.C. Rich. This series is dedicated to double-cut electric guitars with standard Soloist design and metal-shred orientation. ASM Pro is one of intermediate-upscale models of it`s series and it features a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany, instead of ASM`s standard basswood. Metallic Red, Pearl White and Shadow color options are assigned to this six-string axe. All are finished in gloss and have black hardware. Double-locking Floyd Rose bridge is installed on the top and it is fronted by EMG`s 81 and 85 pickups. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch complete the controls unit. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard.

This baby is the quality that you would see in a $1000 guitar. I'm not sure what it cost new but my pre-owned model is in mint condition. The floyd rose is top quality, the pickups are great. Neck thru construction. Great wood. Wow. It feels great and sounds great.
