Mayhem series from AXL Guitars is equipped with several solid-bodied six-stringers. These models come with several different design concepts, such as Flying V, Warlock, Soloist, Mockingbird and others. Mayhem Wavepoint is the one made after the B. C. Rich legend, Mockingbird. Wavepoint is an affordable metal axe with six-string construction and flat-top design. As it is usual for the models from this series, Wavepoint sports the alder-made body with maple neck. This combination is predominant throughout the catalog. Mayhem series characteristic Black and Red color schemes are assigned to this model, as well. Tune-o-matic bridge and it`s stoptail bar are plated in black and fronted by a pair of open-coil humbuckers. Maple neck on this one is fit with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
