Class Axe series uses the XZ designation for Aria`s own brand of metal-oriented Explorer-like guitars. Currently, the XZ-05 and XZ-02 models are available. Both feature 24-fret fingerboards, active electronics and 25-1/2" scales. Also, both models are offered in series standard Black and White options. XZ-02 kicks off with a solid basswood body and bolt-on maple neck (a heel-less joint with four bolts). The neck is equipped with a fast and slim contour in the back and a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (custom inlay at the 12th fret). Instead of the regular EMG 81/85 pack, XZ-02 features a pair of Duncan Designed HB-105 humbuckers. String-through TOM bridge and die-cast tuners complete list of major features.
