Aria`s PE series competes in roughly the same section of the market as Gibson`s Epiphone. While the Epiphone tries to offer the same experience, same tone and appearance as Gibson, Aria`s PE line has gone its own way. The result is an affordable, but very distinctive line of single-cut guitars.
PE-TR1 G kicks off with a solid and single-cut body made completely of mahogany and a set-in neck, also made of mahogany. The neck`s attached through a heel-less joint and has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on its top. Two Aria Classic Power humbuckers with gold-plated covers form the pickups combo. They deliver a fat, warm tone, with bucket-loads of sustain. Other major features include a two-piece bridge and die-cast tuners (both gold-plated).
