Schecter Hellraiser Extreme C-1 Left Handed Review

Hellraiser Extreme C-1 Left Handed is a model from a brand new Hellraiser Extreme series. These models are now top of the line in Schecter catalog. The thing which sets these models apart is neck-through-body construction with ultra access cutaway. Other than that, a choice between ebony and maple fingerboard is a big novelty. Hellraiser Extreme C-1 Left Handed comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Top is carved and bound depending on the color scheme. According to Schecter tradition here are no pickguards featured on this model, as it can be seen on majority of standard double cutaway models. The bridge is the same as on the right-hand version of this model, a tune-o-matic with string-through-body construction and black chrome plating. The pickups are active EMG 81 and 89R humbuckers. They are controlled through two volume knobs with push-pull function for coil splitting, master tone knob and a three-position blade. The neck is made of maple and walnut and runs through the body. It is equipped with a slim profile, contoured heel and ultra access cutaway. The fingerboard is made of either maple or rosewood and sports 24 extra jumbo frets with gothic cross inlays. The scale is 25-1/2" long, tuners are locking Schecters and hardware is black chrome. The MSRP for Hellraiser Extreme C-1 Left Handed is set at $1,449.
