Schecter Hellraiser Extreme C-1 Review

Hellraiser Extreme is being introduced as a top line of Hellraiser series in 2012. These models are equipped with even better materials, features and appointments. Neck-through construction is the biggest difference when compared to other Hellraisers. Other then that, this line is made to be customized by each player. Besides three color options, there is also a choice of fingerboard material. All three color options come with either maple or ebony fingerboards. Hellraiser Extreme C-1 comes with a solid, double cutaway mahogany body which features a carved flame or quilt maple top with abalone binding. See-thru black satin, three-tone sunburst and crimson red sunburst are color options available for this model. The bridge option is a standard Tonepros tune-o-matic with black chrome plating and string-through-body construction. The pickup combo is a trusted and proven EMG active 81/89R pair of humbuckers. Considering materials, construction and craftsmanship quality, these pickups are bound to raise hell with every strum. Controls consist of two volumes with push-pull function, one tone and a three-position blade switch. The neck is made of maple and walnut and runs through the entire body of this guitar. It also has very comfortable and slim shape, ultra access cutaway and contoured heel. The fingerboard is made of either maple, or mahogany, it depends on players choice Both variants are equipped with 24 extra jumbo sized frets and gothic cross inlays. Tuners are locking Schecters and scale measures standard 25-1/2" in length. The MSRP for Hellraiser Extreme C-1 is set at $1,399.
