Following review text is verbal representation of numerical rating information:
Damien B-2 is a good guitar. Slight disproportions in price vs. quality/features should never stop you from trying this guitar. Schecter did put a lot of effort into this instrument and it deserves to be tested. If you find that it suits your playing style, go for it - you won't be sorry.
Schecter didn't go over the top with a set of features that make the Damien B-2 what it is: a guitar that will do the job, but won't thrill you with its limited features. However, it won't let you down if you feel you can get along with what's provided. You can try and search for better solutions, but still, Schecter's Damien B-2 will deliver what you need in most situations.
Best guitars sound great when plugged in any amp, and it's also the case with Schecter's Damien B-2 as well. Damien B-2 is a guitar that sounds great in many music genres, and is sure to satisfy your needs, when searching for your own tone. Easy hardware setup, beautiful, rich tone delivers a lot of inspiration, so playing this instrument is bound to be a joyful experience.
A bit more care and time would make this instrument a class better, but Schecter's Damien B-2 doesn't look bad, nor does play badly. It stays in tune reasonably well, and can provide a not-too-demanding musician some good experience. Was it the price, or some other factor, but it feels that the hardware could have been done better; nevertheless, Damien B-2 is after all a good guitar which is not too hard to handle and set up.
This guitar will hold on really well as it is built well. Not to be battered as it is not the ultimate gigging tool; still, Damien B-2 will perform OK in most live situations. You might feel that it will let you down in you hour of need, but in reality this guitar will do just well. Should you feel unconfident, have a backup guitar ready and you'll have no worries with Schecter's Damien B-2.

Dual Humbucker string through body, 24 fret maple/rosewood neck, Tun-o-matic bridge, sealed tuners, satin finish, Bat pearloid inlays on the neck. Could definitely use some higher quality tuners and I personally would replace the blade saddle tune-o-matic with a roller one.
Good Quality for the money. But any serious guitar player will probably make some changes. Good Factory set up, but I restring everything right out of the box, so..... Honestly I would recommend this as a back up until some improvements and adjustments are made. Not that it isn't dependable, I personally just like a little added insurance, and that can be achieved by upgrading a few very inexpensive parts.
Guitar is reasonably priced, but plan on spending a little more to get the upgrades you'll want on it
I really enjoy this axe. while it might take a little time to get the personal quirks worked out, this thing jams right out of the box. You can leave it as is or upgrade it for a pittance. A versatile working mans guitar that has the potential to become a real screamer. The action fit and finish are what you'd expect from Schecter guitars in this price range.. I would buy again if I had to, But would probably go with the FR series next time
The EMG Pickups are uninspiring, the tuners are average, the volume and tone pots are simple 500K. The bridge is stable and intonation is easy and fast to set. The neck is fairly thin, about as thin as my Hellraiser Deluxe. Not as thin as an ESP F250 but thinner than the Brianna Banks Schecter or the Schecter XXX.
It's solidly built. No problems. The neck doesn't dive towards the floor and it's a light guitar.
My friend picked this guitar up for 200 dollars and sold it to me for 100. It's a great value. I had some Sperzel locking tuners and Dimarzio Pickups on hand and I put those in and this guitar sounds really nice. It's alot brighter than my Mahogany Hellraiser Deluxe. I added a 1 MEG Volume pot and I play it more than I play my Hellraiser. The frets are really easy to get to and although I've never liked V guitars, I really like how free your right arm is to move due to the shape.
The features it comes with are pretty average and entry level but if you upgrade a few things on it you'll be very impressed. I love the shape the most.
When I opened the box I was struck by the shape immediately. Very similar to the B-2 bomber, which I guess is why it has the name. The pearl bats inlays are also striking. I had had no experience with the HZ model of EMG pickups and was a little skeptical until I plugged it into my amp. Nice sound, even without an FX loop; you can always add dirt to your sound but you can't clean up a dirty sound. Cleans were clean and when I kicked on my board it delivered just what I wanted. Not as lovable as my ESP Viper but still nice and a welcome addition. I play rhythm most of the time in low C tuning and it sounds great there. Pretty simple controls with nothing fancy, volume, tone, and a 3-way selector...just the way I like it. Light on the shoulder and easy to play.
I've had it about a year and had no problems with it yet. The tuners could be a little better like Sperzels, but it's bearable because I tune on bypass and it's silent anyway. It seems to be a solid guitar and everything has worked well so far but I don't think I would play without a backup (my backup is an ESP Viper).
It was a good value as I bought it with a factory flaw in the finish and it doesn't affect the tone or playability at all. So I got it at half price :)
I like it so much that i'm considering the other models from Schecter.
I am amateur guitar player and have some guitars in my wh.
First is the shape, amazing, looks like agressive, explosive and inussual. Then you have good original set, 2 humbuckers active (not great but nice) jumbo frets, easy bar chords, fast neck, etc.
Perfect, no scratch or poor finish. Hardware complete.
Nice price, quality is good. You want a better guitar? pay more. I will buy another if i lost it. I like it a lot.
Great shape, nice sound, good price, easy to play. I enjoy every moment i play whit it.
