Following review text is verbal representation of numerical rating information:

Schecter's C1XXX is fairly good guitar. Not a brilliant one, but C1XXX will serve you until you decide it's time to go for a bit more expensive guitar. You will not go wrong if you go ahead with C1XXX.

Schecter didn't go over the top with a set of features that make the C1XXX what it is: a guitar that will do the job, but won't thrill you with its limited features. However, it won't let you down if you feel you can get along with what's provided. You can try and search for better solutions, but still, Schecter's C1XXX will deliver what you need in most situations.

Not the best sounding guitar, Schecter's C1XXX is still usable for not so much demanding musicians, for its tone is not the best in its class. C1XXX could sound better if you take the time and pair it with a good amp while fiddling with settings. Once you find the right tone it can be played without noticing some obvious weak spots.

A bit more care and time would make this instrument a class better, but Schecter's C1XXX doesn't look bad, nor does play badly. It stays in tune reasonably well, and can provide a not-too-demanding musician some good experience. Was it the price, or some other factor, but it feels that the hardware could have been done better; nevertheless, C1XXX is after all a good guitar which is not too hard to handle and set up.

This guitar will hold on really well as it is built well. Not to be battered as it is not the ultimate gigging tool; still, C1XXX will perform OK in most live situations. You might feel that it will let you down in you hour of need, but in reality this guitar will do just well. Should you feel unconfident, have a backup guitar ready and you'll have no worries with Schecter's C1XXX.
