Schecter Blackjack SLS C-8 Review

Blackjack SLS is a brand new line of models from Schecter. What it brings is a lineup of Blackjack models, but with ultra thin necks, Seymour Duncan pickups and carved top bodies. This series models also feature mahogany bodies, three-piece maple necks, Schecter tuners and 24 extra jumbo-sized frets. Blackjack SLS C-8 is a model for all extreme metal and extreme guitar playing fans. Equipped with eight strings, this monster growls with hell`s wrath. Solid, double cutaway mahogany back and flamed maple top body is available in black satin color with multi-ply black binding around the top. The bridge option is an eight string hipshot found on other Schecter eight-stringers. It is plated in black chrome and combined with string-through-body construction. This model, due to it`s size features only Seymour Duncan Blackout active combo of humbuckers. The controls include two volume and one tone knob. The pickup switch is a three-position blade. Neck is made of three pieces of maple and features satin finish, contoured heel, ultra thin shape and ultra access constructed lower cutaway. Ebony fingerboard has 24 extra jumbo-sized frets and skull inlay at the 12th fret. Schecter locking tuners, 28" scale and black chrome hardware wrap the picture.
