Schecter Blackjack ATX C-7 FR 2012 Review

Blackjack`s ATX line is expanded for 2012 with one model, Blackjack ATX C-7 FR 2012. It is a brand new model which continues the tradition of outstanding metal axes from Blackjack lines. Extended range and down-tuned seven string setup with Active Seymour Duncan pickups and 26-1/2" scale guarantees for one of a kind metal experience. The body is solid, with double cutaway and made of mahogany. The top is carved and bound. Color of binding is aged creme in several layers. Color options on this Blackjack encompass satin black and aged white. The bridge is Schecter`s standard option for upscale tremolo equipped models, the Floyd Rose 1000 series with a locking string nut and black chrome plating. The pickups are two Seymour Duncan active Blackout humbuckers. They are controlled through aster tone, two volume knobs and a three-position blade pickup switch. There is no push-pull coil splitting switches on volume knobs. The neck is made of three pieces of mahogany and equipped with a set-in joint and ultra-access cutaway with contoured heel. The fingerboard is made of ebony and it sports 24 extra jumbo frets with active symbol inlay at the 12th fret. 26-1/2" scale and Grover tuners complete the specs.
