Following review text is verbal representation of numerical rating information:
PXD Void I is a good guitar. Slight disproportions in price vs. quality/features should never stop you from trying this guitar. Peavey did put a lot of effort into this instrument and it deserves to be tested. If you find that it suits your playing style, go for it - you won't be sorry.
Carefully chosen set of features makes Peavey's PXD Void I a really good guitar. Some might say that it lacks some of the features, but PXD Void I's features still fulfill an average musician's needs. You won't be wrong to go for this axe 'cause it has a wide array of different sounds and a lot of possibilities for tweaking the sound to make it yours. Getting one of Peavey's PXD Void I is a way to go.
Tone delivered by Peavey's PXD Void I makes it a serious sounding instrument that gives Peavey a lot of reasons to be proud of it. Somewhat limited when playing certain music styles doesn't mean that PXD Void I will make your tone to sound poor, quite the opposite, because PXD Void I provides rich and versatile tone that you'll be happy with.
A bit more care and time would make this instrument a class better, but Peavey's PXD Void I doesn't look bad, nor does play badly. It stays in tune reasonably well, and can provide a not-too-demanding musician some good experience. Was it the price, or some other factor, but it feels that the hardware could have been done better; nevertheless, PXD Void I is after all a good guitar which is not too hard to handle and set up.
This guitar will hold on really well as it is built well. Not to be battered as it is not the ultimate gigging tool; still, PXD Void I will perform OK in most live situations. You might feel that it will let you down in you hour of need, but in reality this guitar will do just well. Should you feel unconfident, have a backup guitar ready and you'll have no worries with Peavey's PXD Void I.
