Peavey's PXD Tomb II is fairly good guitar. Not a brilliant one, but PXD Tomb II will serve you until you decide it's time to go for a bit more expensive guitar. You will not go wrong if you go ahead with PXD Tomb II.

Peavey could throw in a bit more features into PXD Tomb II but this guitar is definitely a usable musical instrument. Whether it's the price cut, or Peavey felt that simplicity is a good way to go, PXD Tomb II is built with a limited set of features, so one needs see if it fits the need. Not the best equipped instrument, but PXD Tomb II will do well for some musicians.

Another great sounding guitar from Peavey such as PXD Tomb II surely stands shoulder to shoulder with its previous models, and with top guitar models from other musical instruments manufacturers as well. Plugged into most amplifiers, this guitar will deliver the kind of tone you'd expect from a high class instrument. Hardware setup that requires no effort to adjust will have you playing your tone in no time.

A bit more care and time would make this instrument a class better, but Peavey's PXD Tomb II doesn't look bad, nor does play badly. It stays in tune reasonably well, and can provide a not-too-demanding musician some good experience. Was it the price, or some other factor, but it feels that the hardware could have been done better; nevertheless, PXD Tomb II is after all a good guitar which is not too hard to handle and set up.

This guitar will hold on really well as it is built well. Not to be battered as it is not the ultimate gigging tool; still, PXD Tomb II will perform OK in most live situations. You might feel that it will let you down in you hour of need, but in reality this guitar will do just well. Should you feel unconfident, have a backup guitar ready and you'll have no worries with Peavey's PXD Tomb II.
