Following review text is verbal representation of numerical rating information:
Jackson is a company that you can count on and be sure that they know their job, and that's building great instruments. Another model from Jackson named USA KV2 King V outperforms and outranks sound-wise many other models in its price range. It's well worth the price.
This guitar is fitted with all the features you could possibly wish for, for a playing style that goes with this kind of instrument. Carefully chosen features leave no guitar player's desire unfulfilled, which makes Jackson's USA KV2 King V an extremely well featured guitar with which you'll be thoroughly pleased. Highest grades for USA KV2 King V's features!
Jackson made a guitar with an astonishing sound. USA KV2 King V is one great sounding instrument. A lot of musicians will agree that it plays well in many different musical genres, and is easy to set up, but most of all, fun to play. Its tone has unique tonal characteristics that are easily adjustable to fit your playing needs.
USA KV2 King V is a guitar that will cause envy with your friends-guitarists. The finish is beautiful; it tells the story of how much time and care Jackson took to create such a great instrument. Action is great right out of the box, but it's easy to set it up to fit your playing style and needs. Hardware is no exception, and is carefully chosen to make USA KV2 King V a fine instrument that it is.
If you're concerned whether USA KV2 King V will serve you well in terms of durability or reliability, then you shouldn't worry at all about that. Jackson created a very fine musical instrument that will stand the test of time and perform well in any situation: studio sessions, gigs or rehearsals. USA KV2 King V is a quality built instrument that will last you a lifetime if you take good care of it.

Excelent quality, I don't know why people are so shamed by Fender taking over, I beleive they were purchased from AKAI, a Japanese company, and now are owned by Fender USA, an American company still utilizing most of the original employees anyway...go figure
High quality for a production guitars, only outdone by ESP Japan
was poorly setup, but having driven it from Vegas to cali, It would have been out of whack by the humidity differences/ altitude changes anyway.
I had to file 2 of the outer edges of 2 of the frets because on a downward bend, the string would catch onto them, very poor fret finish work
sure, Id use this guitar w/o backup, as long as the trem was blocked, break a string on the floyd , and you're screwed with only 1 guitar.
Its definetley a Clydesdale of electric, I imagine you could take this baby to war and it'll come home sweeter than ever
they're a bit overpriced at the custom paint level, face it, most of the custom jobbers are silkscreened anyway(flame/skulls), so why ream the little guy for another 4-500 bucks for that?!?
sure,I guess I would buy another, but I wouldnt be lost without it either.

The only thing I really hate about it is the damn "jumbo" frets it came with are nowhere near jumbo like on my usa BC Rich, and ESP guitars, maybe they just did it to mine, but for THE assault rifle of guitars, these things are way sub-par
24 frets neck thru body floyd rose tremolo 1 volume 1 tone and a 3 way sharkfin inlay sh2 and tb4 seymour duncan humbuckers
if you wanna spend money on a guitar you will never regret buy a neck-thru Jackson ... wether it be a RR1, RR5, RR24, KV2, KV5FR, KE3, KE5FR, WR3, SL1, SL2, SL3MG, SLSMG,or any other neckthru you will probably cherish it as i have with my 6 Jacksons
Better quality than a $5-6000 Gibson imo
