There are musicians who would like to see more features on Matt Bachand MBM1, but Ibanez felt that Matt Bachand MBM1 provides enough features for a given price and the market that Ibanez shoots for. Perhaps there are better equipped guitars then this one, but Matt Bachand MBM1 will deliver for what it's built for.
The sound of Matt Bachand MBM1 is superb to main guitars' in many ways. The reason lies in the fact that Matt Bachand MBM1 plays extraordinary well through mostly any kind of amplifier which means that the sound is versatile, adoptable to various music styles and genres. Though it could be better, action of Ibanez's Matt Bachand MBM1 is not that bad at all. It may lose tuning when mistreated, but it's easily retuned in tune in no time. You won't be put down while playing by Matt Bachand MBM1's neck. Guitar does feel a bit cheaper, but it will last you a long time if you handle it with care each instrument should be getting anyhow.
Some might say that Ibanez didn't go all the way in providing a reliable and durable instrument, but Matt Bachand MBM1 isn't that bad. It will serve you well most of times, though you should be wary and have backups in situations where you feel Matt Bachand MBM1 might let you down, such as gigs and studio sessions.
