It feels that Ibanez could have done better with MTM2, but still, this is a useful musical instrument. You should really give MTM2 a chance if you feel that this is a right instrument for you in this moment in time.

Ibanez didn't go over the top with a set of features that make the MTM2 what it is: a guitar that will do the job, but won't thrill you with its limited features. However, it won't let you down if you feel you can get along with what's provided. You can try and search for better solutions, but still, Ibanez's MTM2 will deliver what you need in most situations.

A bit more care and time would make this instrument a class better, but Ibanez's MTM2 doesn't look bad, nor does play badly. It stays in tune reasonably well, and can provide a not-too-demanding musician some good experience. Was it the price, or some other factor, but it feels that the hardware could have been done better; nevertheless, MTM2 is after all a good guitar which is not too hard to handle and set up.

Some might say that Ibanez didn't go all the way in providing a reliable and durable instrument, but MTM2 isn't that bad. It will serve you well most of times, though you should be wary and have backups in situations where you feel MTM2 might let you down, such as gigs and studio sessions.
