A bit more features for the price asked is what most musicians would like to see from Godin's Solidac Flamed Maple Top. Whether it's the quality of craftsmanship, or the price, musicians don't seem to like what Godin offered with Solidac Flamed Maple Top.

Some say that the average is golden, and maybe that is true for Godin's Solidac Flamed Maple Top as well. There are musicians who would like to see more features on Solidac Flamed Maple Top, but Godin felt that Solidac Flamed Maple Top provides enough features for a given price and the market that Godin aims for. Perhaps there are better equipped guitars then this one, but Solidac Flamed Maple Top will deliver what it's built for.

Though it could be better, action of Godin's Solidac Flamed Maple Top is not that bad at all. It may go out of tune when mistreated, but it's easily tuned back in no time. You won't be let down while playing Solidac Flamed Maple Top's neck. Guitar does feel a bit cheaper, but it will last you a long time, if you handle it with care that each instrument should be getting anyhow.

Some might say that Godin didn't go all the way in providing a reliable and durable instrument, but Solidac Flamed Maple Top isn't that bad.
