Following review text is verbal representation of numerical rating information:
Gibson is a company that you can count on and be sure that they know their job, and that's building great instruments. Another model from Gibson named Shark Fin outperforms and outranks sound-wise many other models in its price range. It's well worth the price.
This guitar is fitted with all the features you could possibly wish for, for a playing style that goes with this kind of instrument. Carefully chosen features leave no guitar player's desire unfulfilled, which makes Gibson's Shark Fin an extremely well featured guitar with which you'll be thoroughly pleased. Highest grades for Shark Fin's features!
Shark Fin is a guitar that looks great and feels great while playing. Top quality finish is what gives Shark Fin its expensive look and totally great feel while playing. Action is great and easily adjustable and top quality hardware will not let you down. Gibson's reputation grows with Shark Fin guitar. This guitar is definitely worth keeping.
If you're willing to believe your fellow musicians, then you should trust that Gibson's Shark Fin is one highly reliable guitar, that will perform well both in studio and on stage. It is durable as well, given the fact that you take the usual care of your instrument. Shark Fin is really a great choice if reliability/durability is one of your concerns.

I had the chance to see the Shark Fin today. I see rows and rows of Les Pauls and SG's then outta nowhere Im drawn to this arc of light just hanging there. I see it and im in awe. a silver axe that looks as if its a weapon. like the sword Excalibur. It reminded me of a 57 Chevy meets the signatures on the U.S. constitution. It was amazingly well balanced and mean. I see the pictures on the Gibson site and they do no justice to this guitar. I mean this thing just came from nowhere! I plug it in to a Marshall and I tell you all....it sounded like a storm of metal. the action was perfect and the sustain was the best i ever heard. i may be a little over dramatic in this review but no other guitar has ever done this to me in 32 years of playing. When I left I had a new appreciation for art.
