GIBSON CUSTOM FIREBIRD CUSTOM ACOUSTIC REVIEW
Electric Guitar by 'Gibson Custom'
It feels that Gibson Custom could do better with Firebird Custom Acoustic, but still, this is a useful musical instrument. You should really give Firebird Custom Acoustic a chance if you feel that this is a right instrument for you in this moment in time.
6-ply top binding body with 4-ply bottom binding
Curly maple neck
Ebony fretboard with Singly-ply white binding
Gibson Custom could throw in a bit more features into Firebird Custom Acoustic but this guitar is definitely a useable musical instrument. Wether it's the price cut, or Gibson Custom felt that simplicity is the virtue, Firebird Custom Acoustic is built around a limited set of features that one needs to investigate and see if it fits the need. Not a best equipped instrument, but Firebird Custom Acoustic will please some musicians well.
Firebird Custom Acoustic guitar has a huge sound that sits shoulder to shoulder with sound produced by best guitars. It's easily controllable and even easier to shape to your own personal music style and style of playing. It's an easy task to adjust the hardware to make this guitar truly fit your playing needs. Gibson Custom has produced a guitar that is capable of achieving that huge and expensive sound heard on records, played by top world musicians.
You could find a better fitted guitar, but Firebird Custom Acoustic is ready to be played by any musician willing to take time and adjust it to his/her needs. Gibson Custom built a guitar that has nice finish but it lack something that would make it feel even better. Guitar stays in tune reasonably well, if you don't force it too much, and the Firebird Custom Acoustic's neck is playable.
If you're happy with Gibson Custom's Firebird Custom Acoustic overall performance and characteristics, you can consider it to be a replacement guitar for your gigs. Even if used as only guitar Firebird Custom Acoustic will perform, but don't overrate it and always try and find a backup. It is a solid guitar that will last long and perform well if you treat it right.
